In response to my mom's homeschooling blog. I am finally updating my blog. Alot has happened since March. So much that I don't even know where to begin.
Right now at the animal shelter that I work at we have 7 beagles and 5 pit bulls, some really ugly small dog and lots of other mixes. WE are way over the limit on dogs. we have 14 kennels and about 27 dogs. Needless to say it is a real chore to get everything done. I am enjoying the warm weather today. It's not to humid and the sun is shinning. My mom told me that it is suppose to rain again tomorrow. I am blessed to have been able to take my two dogs swimming today at the lake. The water was really warm and the dogs are finally sleeping. They chewed up a stuffed animal this morning while I was at work and when I came home there was stuffing everywhere. I think they are tired of the crazy weather as well. For some reason they don't understand why I don't want them on the furniture after they got back from swimming. They are now thinking that I am a mean mother.
While they are sleeping I am going to try and find my mother old meatloaf recipe. I am thinking about making that for dinner since hamburger is on sale this week. For some reason it always seems that mom's cooking always taste and comes out better than mine, even though I learned to how to cook from her.;-)
